• Company turnover from EUR 10 million to EUR 100 million
• Majority shareholding preferred; in case of minority shareholding active role in management
• No specific selection in industry sector but mainly manufacturing industry and service industry
• Clearly identifiable causes for financial difficulties or performance shortfalls
• Viable core business within the distressed company
• Short-term operative engagement
